Bayman was born in Russia however his parent's are unknown. His dreams from when he was young was to join the military, and became a commando. However during the collapse of the Soviet Union, Bayman decides to putt his skills to good use by becoming an assassin.

During Dead or Alive Bayman joins the DOA Tournament in order to assassinate Fame Douglas. He succeeded in doing this however once he fled he was branded an outlaw.

When the Dead or Alive 2 DOA Tournament was announced Bayman checks out the participation list and notices an Italian mercenary named Leon had entered. Bayman decided to risk the chance of being captured to enter this tournament to be able to kill this mercenary.

In this Dead or Alive Bayman enters the competition in order to attempt revenge over his old employer Donovan, but fails.

After failing to kill his former employer Donovan in the previous DOA Tournament, Bayman plans on entering this one again for the same reason. In addition to entering this tournament he is approached by Helena who asserts that she would help him gain revenge though Bayman rejected any help. Later on in the tournament Bayman also has a final battle with Christie which is stated to settle an old score between the two of them. At the end of the DOA Tournament Bayman is held captive and is being interrogated in the DOATEC Tritower. However because of some interventions by Ayane and Hayate, Bayman is able to free himself. Whilst freeing himself Bayman grabbed a pen and stabbed it through his own hand in an attempt to stop the drug that had been dosed into him taking any effect's. Bayman after this is unknown to be alive or dead.
